Chatham County School District named this year's Principal of the Year.
Principal Angie Brady-Andrew of Siler City Elementary School earned the award after yeas of service in the school district. She was also a product of the system. She said she not only has a professional connection with the school, but also a personal one.
"It's a great honor. We have a wonderful group of administrators in our district and to be picked as principal of the year is really a great honor," Brady-Andrew said.
Brady-Andrew was assistant principal of the school for four years before becoming principal in 2004.
