Shoppers can get deals on used children's clothing and help local charities at the same time during the Just 4 Kids consignment sale.

Organizers said Just 4 Kids is a way for families in Southern Wake County to buy and sell gently used children's items.

People who bring items to sell get to keep 75 percent of their asking price on items.  The remaining money goes to the church where the event is located, a local charity and back to the organization.

This year Just 4 Kids will donate a portion of their proceeds to With Love from Jesus, a non-profit organization that helps homeless people in the Raleigh area.

Organizers said the church takes the money from the event and uses it to help people in the community.

Jacqui Fields said the event not only helps the charities it supports, it also helps people make money off their unused items and helps people cloth their kids at affordable prices.

"We have families that that's the only way they clothe their children is at our sale we have families who do it for the financial reasons and then we have other families with disabled children and this enables them to be rally close to home and come and what they need," said Fields.

The sale is located at Life Spring Community Church in Fuquay- Varina.  It starts on March 16 and runs through March 21.
