Jodi College, a senior art education major at Methodist University, will present "An Unexpected Twist" Nov. 23, 2008 - Jan. 2, 2009. College's senior art exhibition will hang in the Mallett-Rogers House behind the University's soccer field. An opening reception is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 23 from 2-4 p.m.
"My artwork is a vehicle through which I can express inner emotions that are within to develop my works of art," says College. "Creating art is my way of describing myself without using words. Most of all my artwork is influenced by my family and emotional responses to my life's experiences."
College's exhibition will feature over 15 pieces, including sculptures, paintings, drawings, and prints. "Experimentation with mixed media allows me the freedom to explore and express my artistic vision."
The art exhibition is free and open to the public.
