Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial is helping Salem Middle School students do their part for the environment.
The Woodmen donated a tree to the school to plant on campus and the students were there to help.
Charles Cooper with the group said this is just one of the many programs sponsored for daycares and schools in the area.
"This is one of the fraternal programs we do to help children. It's kind of nice to see the children grow and then see the tree grow, and to help the community the best we can," Cooper said.
