CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. -

Over 200 Triangle school aged children will receive a computer thanks to volunteers with the Kramden Institute.

Friday trucks of recycled PC's and other software will be unloaded to begin work on bringing the computers back to life.

Volunteers are needed to help refurbish the hardware, help with system upload and final testing. According to the Kramden Institute, volunteers will work on more than 200 computers.

Kramden says there will be food provided for the volunteers. Volunteers will also receive a free t-shirt for working a full shift.

The Geek-A-Thon will take place at the Emily K. Center located at 904 W. Chapel Hill Street.
