CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
Two starting players for the Duke Football team were cited Wednesday morning for underage possession of alcohol.
Quarterback Thaddeus Lewis and cornerback Leon Wright, both 20, were cited by police shortly before 2 a.m. on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill, according to the Chapel Hill Police bulletin.
Chapel Hill's Police Captain tells NBC17 the two men were never taken into custody, but were given a ticket and a court date on scene.
