DURHAM, N.C. -
Police are asking for information on a shooting that has left one person in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers were dispatched to 2809 Crest St. in reference to a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. Monday. When they arrived they found a male victim outside in the backyard with gunshot wounds to his stomach, back and buttocks.
The man was transported to Duke Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police have not released the victim's name.
Investigators believe a small burgundy vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla, was seen leaving the scene of the crime.
