State officials are hosting a festival to celebrate North Carolina's farming heritage and homegrown food.
The Got to be NC Festival will run today through Sunday at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. The event will include a food trade show, barbecue cooking championship, antique tractor pulls and a full carnival.
Admission is free, except for concerts, tractor pulls, rides and games.
The festival is designed much like the State Fair, which usually takes place in October.
