A Fayetteville man is recovering after suffering a heart attack and crashing his car Saturday night.
Police say 65-year-old Raymond Wrench was driving a 1993 Chevrolet north on Ramsey Street near Cochran Avenue when he suffered a heart attack.
Wrench lost control of the car, causing it to cross three southbound lanes and strike a curb. The car then ran off the road and struck several poles, a guide wire and a tree.
Wrench was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital where he remains.
