DURHAM, N.C. -
Durham Police have identified human remains that were found near West Point at the Eno River.
The remains have been identified as 27-year-old Jonathan Richard Gardenour of Durham. Police say Gardenour was reported missing April 2 after he was last seen on March 31.
A Durham resident found the reamins on Aug. 2 shortly after 6 p.m. and flagged down a patrol car.
