A car accident in Cary leaves one man charged with child neglect.
Quinton Simmons, 22, was driving with a suspended license when he got into a car accident on the corner of High House Rd and West Chatham Street on Wednesday.
Simmons was not only driving illegally but also had his one-month-old baby in the front seat. Sergeant Randy Byrd with the Cary Police Department said Simmons was charged with driving without a license and child neglect for putting his small infant in harms way. The baby was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
