RALEIGH, N.C. -
A man wanted for the murder of a 21-year-old woman has been arrested in another state, police said Monday.
Khaleel A Oyeneyin was taken into custody in Queens, NY. The arrest, which transpired without further incident, was made by the New York / New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, an element of the U.S. Marshals Service.
Oyeneyin is accused of killing Corinnie D. Broadway, who was shot June 7 at her apartment at 2100 block of Larson Drive.
Police did not say when Oyeneyin will be returned to Raleigh.
