DURHAM, N.C. -
The Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is attempting to locate a juvenile who escaped while being transported to court.
Davayon J. escaped while in transit from Dobbs Youth Development Center to court in Durham Monday morning.
"Due to the unpredictability of juvenile behavior during an escape, the Department has a high degree of concern for the safety of both the juvenile and the public," stated the press release from the Dobbs Youth Development Center.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Davayon is asked to contact local law enforcement.
