CARY, N.C. -

The town of Cary has released the two 911 calls made to report Nancy Cooper missing and to report the finding of her body.

The first call to 911 was made around 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. Jessica Adam, a friend of Nancy Cooper, is the woman heard placing the call. Adam tells the 911 operator that she is concerned about the whereabouts of Cooper. According to Adam, Cooper was supposed to meet her at 8 a.m.

Adam goes on to say that she spoke with Brad Cooper, Nancy's husband, and he said his wife went for a jog at 7 a.m. She adds that she is concerned for Nancy's well being because the couple were going through a divorce.

"Because of the situation of the divorce...I don't know what to do," said Adam. "There's been a lot of tension...so I wouldn't be surprised."

Meanwhile on Tuesday afternoon, the defense team of husband Bradley Cooper released a tense response that says the release of the calls is "manufactured injustice."

The response even compares it to lessons learned in the Duke Lacrosse case. Read the response by clicking here.

In the second 911 call made at 7:35 p.m. on Monday, July 14, a man calls in to report the discovery of a body, which officials later confirmed were those of Nancy Cooper.

The man said he was walking his dog near Holly Springs Rd. in Raleigh when he spotted the body.

Officials have yet to name a suspect or a person of interest in the death of Nancy Cooper.
