The man accused of killing a Duke graduate student and UNC student body president will be facing a grand jury on more than just murder charges.

Laurence Lovette, 17, was indicted Tuesday on charges of burglary, larceny, resisting public officer, and breaking and entering. He was scheduled to appear before a district judge on the criminal but was indicted instead according to the Supreme Court Clerk's Office.
Lovette along with DeMario Atwater, 22, were arrested in March and charged with first degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Eve Carson. Carson was student body president at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Police say she was robbed and shot to death March 5.
Lovette is also charged with in the death of Duke grad student Abhijit Mahato, 29.
Mahato was found shot to death in his off campus apartment the night of January 18. According to Durham Police, Mahato was robbed then shot in the head.
Stephen Oates, 19, and Lawrence Lovette, 17, have been charged with first degree murder of Mahato.
