Chapel Hill Police say they have arrested two people in connection with the robbery of a Bank of America Wednesday afternoon.
Police said Anthony Ravon Ruffin, 25, entered the Bank of America on Willow Drive shortly before 4 p.m. and demanded money.
The employee handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and Ruffin fled the scene in a blue Chevy Tahoe.
Officers located the getaway vehicle in heavy traffic near Franklin St. and the Eastgate Shopping Center.
The driver of the SUV, Portia Dejeannette Bright, 22, and Ruffin were arrested.
Bright, of Grifton, N.C., has been charged with armed robbery and is being held under a $100,000 bond. Ruffin, of Greenville, N.C., has been charged with armed robbery, identity theft, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of stolen goods. He is being held in Orange County under a $175,000 bond.
