RALEIGH, N.C. -
A dense fog advisory in effect across eastern and portions of central North Carolina, according to the National Weather Service.
The counties included in the advisory are Orange, Durham, Chatham, Wake, Johnston and Cumberland Counties.
The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Visibility across the area is expected to remain around a quarter mile or less through the morning. You are advised to use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
