CARY, N.C. - Cary police were out in full force Wednesday cracking down on aggressive drivers.
It was part of "Operation Patient Payoff."
All day long, officers tracked speeders and tailgaters on N.C. Highway 55.
Officers issued more than 29 citations back in December during a similar campaign.
Cary has also created a hotline people can call if they see drivers being too aggressive.
Motorists can call "Road Watch" at (919) 319-4521.
If the police department gets enough calls for specific areas, they say they'll start sending more patrols around.
