A Princeton teenager faces two misdemeanor counts of death by motor vehicle after an accident that killed a Princeton High School football player last week.
Four people were in the car. Matt Stewart, 17, and Brandon Baker, 21, both died in a head on collision along Fellowship Church Road near Princeton Kenly Road.
The driver of the car, Nathan Pearson, 17, is still be treated and is in good condition. Cody McConnell, 17, is in serious condition.
According to the Highway Patrol, Pearson has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor homicide by vehicle, one count exceeding safe speed, one count driving left of center and one count driver's license violation.
Highway Patrol officials said Pearson was traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone when Pearson's car crossed the center line crashing head on into a jeep, driven Rosa Wilson, 80.
No alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident, according to the Highway Patrol.
