The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board will hold a ceremonial ribbon-cutting Sunday to officially open Terminal 2.
The ceremony begins at 8:50 a.m. The event is not open to the public.
The new terminal cost a total of $570 million to build. It will house its major airlines, including Delta, American, and United. Terminal 2 will be nearly three times larger than Terminal C and become RDU's primary terminal for both domestic and international travelers.
