This weekend the Town of Apex will celebrate its annual "Christmas on Salem Street."
Events begin Friday at 5:30 p.m. with the tree lighting Mayor Keith Weatherly, followed by sleigh rides at 6 p.m. and the arrival of Santa. A scavenger hunt will also take place with more than 100 prizes to be given away.
The annual Rotary Club Pancake breakfast will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, along with pictures with Santa from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The parade is at 5 p.m.
On Sunday, residents can participate in the annual Christmas home tour from 1 to 5 p.m.
