North Carolina's baseball team has played its way into some good company.

The Tar Heels have become just the second team in Atlantic Coast Conference history to reach the College World Series in three straight years.

North Carolina on Sunday joined Florida State as the league's only teams to accomplish the feat by beating Coastal Carolina 14-4 to sweep their super regional series.

The Seminoles twice made it to Omaha in three straight years, doing it from 1994-96 and 1998-2000.
