CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Chapel Hill man.
David Michael Gierisch, 52, was last seen on June 25 at the Chapel Hill Public Library on Estes Drive.
Gierisch is described as 5'9" tall, weighing 185 pounds with light gray hair and blue eyes. He usually wears shorts, a short sleeve shirt and wears glasses with black frames.
Chapel Hill Police say Gierisch has a history of depression and it is not known if his medication is with him.
