Durham police investigators are asking for information about an Aug. 9 break-in to the Citgo Food Mart, 4319 N.C. 55.
Officers responded to an alarm at the business at 4:31 a.m. and discovered that the front door glass had been smashed with a rock. A male entered the business and stole beer. He fled in a black 2-door sedan which resembled a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
The suspect was described as having a large build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, a dark ball cap and a green bandana tied around his neck.
Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Chappell at 560-4415, ext. 29311 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
