Now, people can enjoy downtown Apex in a new way.
The Apex Rotary Club donated hand-made benches to sit on and look at the newly planted garden at the Chamber of Commerce.
Dudley Moorhouse, who built the benches, said he hopes after people are done shopping and eating in downtown, they can relax in the garden.
"We have a lot of functions over there and people come to see the Chamber, and I think this is just a great place after they're done in there they can come out and have a cup of coffee or whatever," Moorhouse said.
It's also an educational experience. Each of the flowers has its own label so people can learn its name and origin.
