CLAYTON, N.C. -
Thousands of dollars worth of property and cash were reported stolen during a larceny spree that targeted almost a dozen vehicles throughout Clayton, police records show.
According to incident reports, items including car stereos, checks, compact disc players, and I-Pods were stolen beginning April 1, according to the Clayton Police Department. The larceny reports were taken from cars parked along Biltmore Drive, John Street, Honcutt Drive, Cricket Hollow Run and Sleepy Creek Drive.
The Clayton Police Department is investigating.
