CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
Another public hearing will be held tonight in Chapel Hill to discuss the Innovation Center at Carolina North.
The center will provide a place where innovation-based companies affiliated with the university can work on their research and development from lab concept to viable business.
Those in support of the project say the center will help businesses grow and keep research money local.
Opponents say they're worried about the environmental impact the center will have.
Developers hope to begin construction on the center in the spring.
