With more than 30 countries on display, Wake Tech's International Day celebration will be a stunning picture of cultural diversity. This year's event, an annual tradition that began more than 20 years ago, will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The festivities will include songs, dances, fashions, and foods from around the world; a smorgasbord of international dishes will be available for tasting. Wake Tech's student body represents 106 different countries.
International Day was established to promote respect and understanding among all cultures.

Highlight: Salsa Magic performs an Interactive Latin Dance Party
from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participants will learn the dance steps for some of the hottest Latin dances. No experience required!
Who: Students, staff, and faculty
Why: Wake Tech Community College is committed to fostering an
environment of respect and understanding among cultures. The college serves a diverse student body, with 106 countries represented. The International Day celebration is being organized by the Office of Student Services, the Student Government Association, the International Friends Club, and Campus Diversity Committee. This event is highly anticipated and well attended each year.
