It's that time of year again -- prom season.
"I'm excited for the prom in my black dress and shoes," said Beka Yilling who attended the prom.
It is Christie Fahey's fourth year attending Joy Prom.
"I really look forward to going each year and it's a nice event where you can dress up and be with your escort," Fahey said.
This wasn't just any prom. The girls had their dresses, a Hummer limo and even a red carpet, not to mention one important detail.
"I have a date," Sammie Kruse said with a smile.
Providence Baptist Church hosted over 500 people of all ages at the prom, and parents like Jackie Holcombe said it's a dream come true.
"It's their night to shine and everybody loves having that, so I think it's the same as anybody the night of their prom," Holcombe said.
Everyone, including Lindsay Holcombe and her escort, danced the night away.
"I'm excited about dancing," Holcombe said.
And with all the dancing, beautiful dresses and royal treatment some girls say it's the simple things that bring the joy to prom night.
"The dessert," Kruse said.
The parents said they were just as excited as their girls.
