FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
One person was killed during a house fire Sunday morning in Fayetteville, according to Cumberland County authorities.
Fire crews were dispatched to 845 Montclair Road in Fayetteville at approximately 3:23 a.m. for a house fire. Crews were able to put out the fire quickly. Once the fire was out, crews discovered a body.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time until a next of kin can be notified.
There is no word yet on what may have started the fatal fire.
