WAKE COUNTY, N.C. -

Federal recovery money is helping fill in some budget gaps for Wake County.

Residents can start tracking how the county spends the money on a new website.

Commissioners recently approved $3.2 million of stimulus money for temporary job relief through the Capital Area Workforce program.

At their next meeting, they'll discuss how to best spend more than $580,000 to prevent homelessness.
