Residents in Cary will have a chance to weigh in on their proposed budget today.
The $300 million plan is 20 percent less than the current town budget.
Here's a breakdown on how some of the money would be spent:
• $61.1 million for street improvements, downtown streetscape and other transportation initiatives
• $48.9 million for water and sewer projects
• $19.6 million for parks
A public hearing will be held tonight as part of the regular town council meeting and starts at 6:30 p.m. in the town council chambers.
