Wake County commissioners could vote on their $954 million spending plan Monday.
David Cooke, county manager, asked all departments to come up with 10 percent reductions in spending in their budget requests.
Under Cooke's proposal, about 120 positions would be eliminated -- about 20 of those are currently filled.
The plan does not include any tax increases.
