CARY, N.C. -
The chicken debate, in Cary, could be coming back for round three.
In June, the Cary Town Council struck down an ordinance that would have allowed people to keep chickens as pets.
It was the second time the council took up the issue and the voted it down.
Now a group of Cary citizens wants to form a town sanctioned advisory group to consider a change to that rule.
If the group is approved it would have 90 days to study the issue before reporting to the council.
